Neoteric :: Bicycle Day [Soundex Pulverized Mix] (VB23MP028B)
Studio engineer and Virus B-23 producer John Poole aka Neoteric has been crafting some storming breaks influenced tracks in between working with bands and musicians across London. He's heading in a direction that has hints of acid, progressive and nu skool combined with dynamic sounds and effects designed to cause brain jism in those who listen. Bicycle Day takes it's name from LSD godfather and inventor Albert Hoffman's journey home on his bike whilst in the midst of his first trip. It's certainly not a peaktime banger but would do the business in any nu skool DJ set played alongside the kind of music that Marine Parade once released or rubbing up against material from the likes of NuBreed. Vince and Loz, the pair behind Soundex, turn out a remix that walks right into a world of audio disintegration and mind bending villainy.
