Raw and machined electro is the backbone of fullspectrum's output with a generous dash of filth stirred in. Nick Byrne shares this insight into his music world - "Having been a drum and bass DJ until the late 90's, and with the influence of my brother Sonic (Space Recordings), the sounds of hard, electronic beats have been firmly encrypted into my mind for some time now. But with the consistently evolving sounds of electro into UK bass (or whatever else you would care to call it), I found that my production techniques (which began on a Playstation copy of Music 2000) suited the kind of kinetic sounds I began to hear from the likes of people on my friends list on my page at MySpace. Aside from drum and bass, my second biggest influence is the Norfolk party scene. Dancing or playing live sets in many a random field or forest helped to shape my sound, as did being in the marshy midst of musical sparring partners such as Synapse, Luke's Anger and Ed Chamberlain. However London's gravitational pull sucked me in, in March 2006 I moved to Brixton to contiue my passion - creating bass laden beats. "
