Neoteric

After working and whoring his soul to top London recording studios like Strongroom, The Dairy, Miloco as freelance assistant / engineer, John ended up in~house engineer at the Dairy Studios, after managment there realised they would benefit from having John in their studios at the controls and twiddling those knobs! Working alongside some of the country's top producers such as Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers) Colin Richardson (Funeral For A Friend, Bullet For My Valentine) and Paul Schroeder (Stone Roses, 80's Matchbox) gives John invaluable technical knowledge and untold tips and tricks in the studio that he works into his own productions. Some of John's latest credits and projects worked on include The Sunshine Underground, Bloc Party, Switches, Maxi Jazz, Lou Rhodes (former Lamb vocalist), Slipknot, Cinematics, Ali Love and many more.

Unfortunately John did actually sell his soul to the Dairy therefore spending most of his life in the complex, and even worse, working for them and not working on his own tunes. However any sacred time off is exploded into a Neoteric production and normally twos and fros between John's bedroom and the studios and as of late, up to Leeds for some top notch mastering from Soundex / Speculum's Vince. The Neoteric sound started life around three years ago as a form of slightly downtempo progressive breaks, heavily synthed and layered with atmosphere and techy progressive beats, forward to today and things are getting darker, glitchier, better produced and generally dirty, fit for any nuskool breaks / electrobreaks dancefloor!!

Heroes: Hybrid, Si Begg, Nubreed, Andy Page, Soundex / Speculum, Sasha, James Zabiela, Homer SImpson, holidays, good nights out, massive soundsystems, girls with big asses, Reason 3, Matt Tong, driving too fast, Nando's Chicken in pitta, sarcasm, silly drunk people.

Villans: Colin and Edith, crap shoes, R+B, tube delays, all day hangovers, queing, getting ripped off, Brixton crackheads, council tax and not getting enough time off to make tunes!!
